Welcome to Nevada Taxidermy, where we strive to make every trophy as lifelike as possible. Each project is treated differently, and is a custom piece of artwork. Owners Wayne and Sabrina Comstock want to make sure each client is taken care of to their exact standards!
As early as I can remember, I was always in the outdoors with my Grandpa and Father. In the early 80's, I was introduced to the world of taxidermy by my Grandpa, who introduced me to his friend who was a taxidermist. He guided me through the process of mounting a pheasant, and afterwards, I fell in love with the art and started mounting everything I could get my hands on. I mounted my friends and families animals for as long as I could, and after I graduated from school, I decided to work with one of the BEST in the industry. After a few years of being taught all the ins and outs of the industry, I felt like there was more and my calling was at my fingertips.
It was 1995, and I decided it was time to chase my dream and open my own business. Like most, I started in my garage. I built a very large clientele as Nevada grew rapidly within the hunting world and the desire for elk and sheep hunting became extremely popular. I felt it was time to expand and open my very own Studio. In 2012, Nevada Taxidermy opened up as a full service studio, specializing in life-sized dioramas for fish and birds. Our main focus and priority is our quality and our eye for detail. We pride ourselves on stepping outside of the box and going that extra mile for our customers, to preserve that moment in time and to furmish a piece of art that they can cherish for a lifetime.
